Pinot, Bretzels, and Cathedrals

Hello there,

In the event you’ve recently fell upon this trove of my random scribbling, let me tell you about myself.

My hubby, 2 daughters and I are South Africans who are currently living our 10th year in Strasbourg, France.

We love and miss our South African country and family but life is just a whole lot easier here.

Hubby works for a medical company, I’m a chef 👩🏻‍🍳 (or in the event you’re actually French, I’m a <cuisinière> ) and our daughters are currently 14 & 12

These writings you have fallen upon are an expression of me, a newsletter, an old habit I used to have of writing letters to friends, as if they were on the other end of the phone.

I don’t have the time like I used to. And after 9 years of living this life, there’s little that’s fresh and new, so you’re unlikely to benefit from it unless you’re inclined to sitting with a cuppa and just reading someone’s personal ramblings.
